Yes. The only limitation to the size of the object you can scan is the amount of memory on your computer.
It always depends on the size, complexity and level of details required. Scanning a car door should take a few minutes for a full car, probably more than a few hours.
Peel 3 is capable of scanning black plastic parts; shiny black parts can be challenging, but nothing a bit of spray powder can’t fix
Peel 3 can scan bare metal parts but might struggle with chrome at some point (like all scanners). A bit of spray powder will fix any issue.
Targets are more of a complement; the scanner can use geometry and texture for positioning. They are highly recommended for flatter or smoother surfaces as well as when accuracy is important.
