In addition to the powerful alignment and entity extraction tools available in Peel.CAD, Peel.CAD Pro includes enhanced sketching and modeling functionalities. Unlike Peel.CAD, which serves as a bridge to other CAD software, Peel.CAD Pro is a complete reverse engineering solution. Peel.CAD Pro also allows you to transfer the timeline operations directly to SolidWorks.
Targets are more of a complement; the scanner can use geometry and texture for positioning. They are highly recommended for flatter or smoother surfaces as well as when accuracy is important.
Peel.CAD Pro is perfectly tailored for SolidWorks, allowing the complete timeline to be transferred. This means any sketches or models can be reopened in SolidWorks as native components. For other popular CAD platforms like Autodesk and Inventor, the CAD model can be used, along with transferred extracted entities or cross-sections, but the full timeline won't be available.
